The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, 32922 Richmond Street, Lucan on Saturday, May 26th at 11 AM with Father Father Dariusz Lewandowski celebrant. Cremation with interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Parish prayers will be said in the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 4 PM.

My mother Joyce lived next door to Bernice at Mt Hope. We saw Bernice often and heard her sing, something which brought joy to all of us. We enjoyed concerts together and other social moments, including moments with Moose Tracks ice cream. My uncle Syd worked with Bernice’s husband at Western. Our family is not only sad for your loss but also grateful for the privilege of knowing such a wonderful, imaginative woman who could communicate so articulately and with considerable spirit under challenging circumstances.
