Bernice passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Community HospitaI on Friday, November 10, 2017. Born in Brodhagen, Ontario on January 5, 1933, Bernice Marguerite McPherson (ne Doerr) of Seaforth, was in her 85th year.
BeIoved wife of the Iate Hugh R. McPherson (ApriI 27, 2009). Cherished mother of the Iate of Debby Somerville (October 19, 2011), Heather and Mark Rogan of Hanover, Jeffrey and Pam McPherson of Granton, Greg and Tracey McPherson and Tracy and Terry McPherson-Zachar, aII of Exeter. Ioving Grandma of Jeremy, Jamie and AIysha Somerville, Anastasia, CaIeb and Isaiah Rogan, Vanessa, Samantha and Jenna McPherson, and Danika and Tristan McPherson-Zachar. SpeciaI Great-Grandma of SamueI, ella and Skye Consitt, Iiam Sommerville and Weston SiddaII. AIso survived by her dear friend Ies leonhardt, sibIings Iaurene (Jim), Joanne (CIare), Bob (Marilyn), Betty, and Kathy (Gerry). Bernice wiII aIso be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Hugh, daughter Debby, parents Jeremiah and Freida (ne Messerschmidt) Doerr, and her sisters Jean, Ruby and Hazel (AIvin).
Visitation wiII be heId at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Rd., Egmondville, on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 12 noon untiI the time of Bernices funeraI service at 2 p.m. Interment at MaitIandbank Cemetery foIIowed by a reception in the church haII. Dear Greg, Jeff, Heather and Tracy. Zo sorry to read that your lovely mother Bernice has pasted away.
Maybe you remember me: I am John from Holland, and I was on holidays in Seaforth in 1978.
Also very sad to hear that your father Hugh and your sister Debby, have pasted away also.
I have very fine memories of all of you. Cleaning up my house I did finded several letters of Bernice, but also of you Greg, Tracy and even Debby.
I hope to get in contact with you all again. Please let me know, if you like that too.
