Passed away at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Sunday, October 31, 2021 of Exeter at the age of 72. Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Barbara (Hedley) Bell. Anne will be missed by her cousins, extended family and friends.
Anne was born in Toronto, and adopted by her parents Elmer and Barbara. She spent her childhood growing up in Exeter, attending Exeter Public School and South Huron High School. She then continued her education at Elma College, an all girls school. Once graduated, she became a law clerk at her fathers law office in Exeter. Anne enjoyed singing, and was known for her beautiful voice. She enjoyed riding horses, and spending time at the family cottage. Anne had a love for all animals and took care of her cats and dogs like they were her children. She eventually settled at the Exeter Villa, making many friends whom will fondly remember her.
A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 4th at 11 AM. Entombment Woodland Mausoleum, London. Though the service is private, you are invited to join from the comfort of your home. Stream the service live or at your convenience by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh.

Anne had a great laugh. We use to laugh a lot at Alma College .I remember her fondly as one of the gals at Alma. I was sorry to hear of her passing.

So very sorry to hear of Anne’s passing. Growing up, Anne and I spent our summers together at our family cottages at Port Blake. I can still hardly believe how much time we spent swimming and giggling our time through those long, sunny days. When I visited Anne in these last years, we often reminisced about our fun times. She could still make me laugh! She was very kind and thoughtful to my mother when they were both living in The Villa.

Anne and I were good friends and neighbours when we were little kids. I always enjoyed being at her lovely home on James Street in Exeter{ especially when I was able to spend time reading her comic books|. I remember her birthday parties very fondly, although I always resented her being one day older than me as I was born on April 02.
Although we gradually went our separate ways as we grew older I never forgot her. She was my first friend.
I sense that her time at Exeter Villa was a happy time for her and I am thankful for that. I will always be grateful for her friendship and for all the fun we had.

We were next door neighbours of the Bell family and we had a close knit community of school age kids that played together often climbing the tree in Anne’s yard. We were close through our school years and I fondly remember riding in a snow cutter behind Anne’s horse.
Anne was always a loyal friend and we treasured the memories we made over the years.

I come to know Anne when I was her support visitor while she lived at the Exeter Villa. We had many laughs and chats. She loved her jewelry, makeup and clothes. We continued to be friends when my mother in law was a resident I would visit with Anne. She will be missed by many.
