Peacefully at Huron Hospice, Clinton on March 12, 2024 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Frances (Blyde) Bedard for 48 years. Cherished dad of Anita Bedard & Nick Asher, and Dennis & Jessica Bedard. Adored Grandpa of Tyler, Athena, Arabella; Landon, and Liam. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Paul Bedard, David & Marilyn Bedard, Michael Bedard, Gail Ducharme, Denise Webster, Carol Ducharme, Rosemary & Brian Rader, Sonny Secord, George & Carol Blyde, Pat Blyde, Connie Blyde, Tom & Sandy Blyde, and Theresa MacEachern. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Napoleon & Joan Bedard, parents-in-law George & Irene Blyde and Barb Blyde, sister Linda Sangster, sisters-in-law Shirley Bedard, and Linda Bedard, brothers-in-law Tony, and Jack Ducharme, Ed Webster, Kevin, and John Blyde, and Ron MacEachern.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, 22 Mary Street, Zurich on Thursday, March 21st from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. The funeral mass be held following the visitation at 11 AM. Inurnment St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Following the mass a come-and-go celebration of Randy’s life will be held at the Zurich Community Centre, 15 East Street, Zurich, from 1 – 3 PM.
Donations to Ivy Eye Institute or Huron Hospice would be appreciated by the family.

Randy and I did everything together, (more good than not so good. In our younger years while living across the road from each other Randy became a close friend. Skating at the arena and setting pins at the bowling alley were things we did together often. Duck always had a way to make things fun and interesting.
