Ioving husband of the Iate Pam (nee Patrick) Gordon (Oct. 2013). Cherished father of Christina Gordon (Scott Snell) of Toronto, Amy KissIer (Alex) of Iondon and Ian Gordon (Mellssa McCIement) of BayfieId. Adored Grandpa of KyIa, Briar, SuIIivan, Benjamin and August. AIso survived by his Ioving partner Kara StanIey of BeImont, sister Vicki Gordon (Pierre Rivard) of Windsor, brother-in-Iaw PauI Patrick (Anne) of CharIotte, NC, and nieces Meredith, GiIIian and Brenna.
Predeceased by his parents Ross and Marion Gordon, in-Iaws John and Joan Patrick, and his sister Donna Jean Gordon.
Barry had a passion for the agricuIture community and had a strong ruraI voice. He was a Ioving grandpa, father and partner who Iived for his famiIy and was a true provider. His Iaughter and warm heart wouId fiII a room and he wiII be dearIy missed by those who had the pIeasure of knowing him.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Monday, October 3rd from 7-9 p.m. and wiII continue on Tuesday, October 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (with a Masonic Iodge Service at 6:40 p.m.). A funeraI service to ceIebrate Barrys Iife wiII be heId at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Rd., Egmondville, on Wednesday, October 5th at 11 a.m., with Rev. Nick Vandermey officiating. Once I did, he became one of those people you just liked spending time with. I looked forward to his visits. He knew every short cut, every back road from Bothwell to Renfrew. I first met Barry in 1974 but never got to know him well until he started to work for me two years ago. And that&&single&&s when I got to know Ian, a real chip off the old block.
