Uncle Jack was a first class man. I always felt loved and respected when I had the privilege of being a guest in the Bannon home. One particularly happy memory is of him taking us all out on the boat for the day. He was strong and in control of the operation but he was also fun and making sure that everyone had a good time. Boy did I have a good time.
Lots of love to my dear Aunt Marie and all the family.
Our deepest sympathies on hearing of Jack’s passing.

Dear Marie and Family.
I’m sorry to hear about Jack’s passing.
Have found memories from the time our families lived on Valleyview Ave.
God Bless.
My Deepest Condolence to the family. I worked for Gaffney Construction on some of the bridges on 401 plus other places under Jack Bannon who was my Superintendent and Boss. We all enjoyed working for him as he was very down to earth and a very fair man. I was working at Port Bruce when he came to the bridge to tell us about President Kennedy being murdered and seen his compassion as he had tears in his eyes. He was a very special person who treated my dad and myself as we were special to him. Your family has something to be very proud of as he was a man of great intelligence and gave respect to those who deserved it. I am so sorry to hear about his passing but our lost is God’s Gain and I know God will grant peace and strength to all who knew and loved him for memories never die. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family during their time of grief.
It was with sadness that we learned about Jack’s passing.
Marie, our condolences from both your friends at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Grand Bend and from the Catholic Women’s League.
