Dear grandmother of Shelly and Ron MacLean and Natasha and Paul Smibert and great-grandmother of Kayla McNeil, Justin and Amanda Smibert. Predeceased by her son Vic Balabucha (2008).
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday evening, October 24th from 6-8 PM, where the funeral service will be held at 8 PM with Pastor Doug Loveday officiating. Cremation.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. This is one of the most difficult things we must face in this life. May it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. But the bible assures us at Psalms 34:18 that God is near to those broken in heart and those crushed in spirit he saves. He also promises that we will be able to see our loved ones again. Jesus own words found at John 5:28,29 tells us there will be a resurrection. What a wonderful hope! Nick and Lyn…I’m so sorry to hear about Mom…I was on here checking a different obit and had no idea…Ron and I are sorry we missed your mom’s visitation. I always loved when your mom raided your garden and brought us over the cukes and baby tomatoes. You both looked after her with great love and respect.

She took care of us when mom was working and taught us a lot about chickens:) You touched our lives early in life and I am sure that many more people were touched by you throughout your many years.
