Peacefully, at Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich after enjoying a picnic in the sunshine, on Friday, June 4, 2010, formerly of Exeter in her 88th year. Beloved wife and life partner of Roy Hunter for 64 years. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Sandra Hunter of Lucan, David and Ruth of Calgary and Michael and Deb of Exeter. Dear grandmother of Michelle, Molly, Andrea and Dana. Dear sister of Almira Ford and Harold Brintnell both of Exeter. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Irene Brintnell and her siblings James, Madeline, Jack, Douglas, Frank and Etta. The family wishes to express their special thanks to the Bluewater Rest Home staff for their love and care.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 8th at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Bluewater Rest Home would be appreciated by the family.
There will be a Rebekah service in the funeral home at 6:30 PM on Monday evening.
