Peacefully at the Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, with family by her side on July 20, 2024 in her 92nd year. Dear wife of the late Robert Allan (1999). Loving mother of 3 daughters Jacqueline Patrice Steele (Gary Steele), Maureen Kay Higgins (Bill Higgins) and Kelly May Carter (John Berthelot). Proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at Bairds Cemetery, Stanley Township at a later date. Teresa immigrated to Canada in 1954 as an educated RN working in supervisory roles at St. Joseph Hospital in London and retiring at the Clinton Public Hospital. She was an amazing cook and host, holding various dinners for friends and family. Her quick wit and humour will live on in future generations. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Blue Water Rest Home for their care and compassion throughout the years.

In Irish skies, where laughter rings, A memory of joy, a love that clings, Your humor, a treasure, a gift you’d share, In moments tough, you’d show your care. We’ll miss the laughter, your jokes, your fun, But cherish the moments, one by one, For in our hearts, you’ll always stay, Laughter in the Irish skies, in memory’s play. Our dear one, forever near, A love eternal, undying, clear, In laughter’s embrace, we find our peace, A love unbroken, a bond that’s ceaseless.
Kelly, Jenn, Whitney and Brooke.

In reading of your mom’s passing I had a flood of so many happy memories. I worked with your mom at Clinton Public Hospital when I was 18 years old…..so having said that 49 years ago I met the one nurse who was the epitome of professionalism, humour, dry wit and so much fun! Terry along with ALL female nursing staff wore white uniforms ,cap and pin. And wore it proudly! You did not cross these nurses….they were in charge for a reason. We can recall so many tough times, emergencies, and times that we flew by the seat of our pants but we did our best and have no regrets! So many tales we could regale. May you have peace in knowing your mom had an influence in so many peoples lives.
