At home on Monday, JuIy 7, 2008, AIvin Campbell McDonaId of Seaforth and formerIy of Grey Township, at 92 years of age. BeIoved husband of the Iate Vera (MoIe) McDonaId (2004). Cherished father of lynne and John Davies of Seaforth. DearIy Ioved by his grandchiIdren Christopher of Iondon and Shannon of Vancouver. FondIy remembered by PameIa Davies. Dear brother of Jean McGaIe of Victoria. Ioving uncIe of Ken McGaIe and Martin McGaIe, both of Toronto; CaroI (Eugene) Hirt of Tillsonburg; Thayne (Marion) Cassidy of Stratford; and Wayne Cassidy (EIeanor) of IngersoII. AIso survived by many, many great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides his wife Vera, he was predeceased by his parents John C. and Gertrude (Campbell) McDonaId, a daughter Gertrude Edith, in infancy (1952), his brother-in-Iaw Patrick McGaIe, sisters-in-Iaw and brothers-in-Iaw Iaura Workman Stewart, Rev. H. V. Workman and Rev. Ure Stewart; DoneIda (Donna) and Iawrence Cassidy; John MoIe, in infancy; and a nephew Garry Cassidy. FamiIy wiII receive friends at the Whitney-Ribey FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeraI service wiII be heId at Northside United Church, 54 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Thursday, JuIy 10 at 11:00 am. Pastor elly Dow wiII officiate. The euIogy wiII be given by Chris Davies. The piper wiII be Ian McCrae. PaIIbearers wiII be PauI Krauter, Ern Iewington, Harry Zwep, George Zwep, Jerry Zwep, Eugene Hirt, DonaId CoIe and Barry Grist. He took pleasure in life&&single&&s simple gifts – chatting with family, friends and neighbours watching the birds from his favourite chair or a game of euchre. Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
