I have just heard of the passing of someone who hired me at ULC over 32 years ago. I retired in Feb., and only found out through ULC HR. this sad news. On behalf of my wife and myself, I offer my sincere condolences. He was my boss and truly the best I ever had the privilege to work for!

    Dear Judi:

I was stuned to learn of Keith’s tragic accident – he was in his prime and many good years lay ahead for you and your family. He was too young to be taken away from you.

I recall the the happy times we shared together.

I cannot recall how many years I spent working with Keith at ULC but suffice it to say his skills and knowledge were of great benefit to ULC as well as those he worked with.

    With my deepest condolencies.

Keith’s passing is a tragedy that saddens all who knew him. His cheerful and positive attitude to everything was infectious no matter what troubles you had to deal with and just thinking of him has the same effect.

Keith was always eager to help with all sorts of jobs or repairs of anything and if he did not have a solution would go out of his way to find one. It was all too obvious he just enjoyed helping people in whatever way he could.

Since hearing of your loss we have been and still are in disbelief. He is missed!
Our hearts go out to you with our sincerest sympathies.

    Hank and Sue

My deepest sympathy to Judi & family. It was really a shock to hear the passing away of Keith. I still cannot believe that he is gone. Keith has helped me fixed a number of things – my car, boat, lawn mower & even my washing machine. We often talked about the things he would do after his early retirement. Unfortunately his plans came to an abrupt end.

    I miss you Keith.

    Judy, Ashley and Christopher:

Keith always had a smile on his face and that’s the way I’ll always think of him. He enjoyed life to the fullest and seldom let things get under his skin. His life, while too short, was certainly lived for laughter and enjoyment, both of which he did often. He will be missed; our condolences go out to you all.
    God Bless.

Dear Judi Ashley and Chris it is a very sad time for all of us here at Dom’s Auto. Our days were that much brighter when Keith and Judi would stop in with young Ashley. Some days we would talk cars, the next family. His bond with Ashley was so genuine it served as an inspiration to me in raising my own daughter.

We have lost a true gentlemen and friend.

    October 23, 2011 at 12:23 PM

    Dear Judi,
We are stunned! We received the news yesterday from Anthony & Betty.
When I think of Keith I remember a wonderful, helpful, social neighbour, and with you, a part of the family for a while when sadly you were moving away, and later, a frequent visitor with a love of food & fun, I always welcomed your visits. Keith always had that twinkle in his eye, a ready smile and a hearty laugh even when he was the object of the humour. I often think about his innitiation into skiing – he tried it and lived, remember the ‘T’ bar?!
Since the mid ’80s our lives have involved moves and changes and eventually loss of contact.
It was Lloyd who received the news and was shaken even though he didn’t know Keith personally, but only from my stories.
We will continue to think of the good times with you both – happy treasured memories.
I can’t think about Keith without smiling.
    Night. Night, God Bless, Keith.
Dear Judi, our thought & hearts are with you and your family
    Maueen, Lloyd, Sheryl and Kathy.

I meet Keith 32 years ago when I started at ULC as a technician. I couldn’t afford the most reliable vehicle back then but I will always remember his assistance & advise on how to fix my car. He always had a smile on face and a little humor to brighten your day.

My sincere condolences to Judi and the family for their loss.

Keith was the epitome of gentleness and capability. Managing the physical operations of a company like ULC called for a huge skill set in handling both the mechanics and the politics of the operation, and Keith managed both with a capability and a pleasant charm that defused conflict and forged resolution.
I am grateful to have worked with him and dismayed that his life has been so curtailed.
My deepest sympathy to Judi, Ashley and Christopher

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Judi, Ashley, Christopher and Pauline. I first met Keith at ULC while still an apprentice electrician in the late seventies. Over the many years since then of coming to know him as a customer, it was very evident that Keith loved his family, people, work and life in general. At the office it was easy to see he had a great sense of humour that was balanced with an amazing talent for understanding all things mechanical and electrical, and yet he conveyed his knowledge to others with such humility and for the simple joy of learning.

He will be missed by so many.

So sorry to hear this !!!! Keith was such a friendly, easy going guy. If anything was broken , he could fix it. Keith opened the door for me at ULC. He was my supervisor in the Plant Department. Not only that he was a friend. He was the hands on,get dirty and do the job kind of guy. We didn’t throw too much out. we fixed it or used it somewhere else. I learned a lot from Keith. He will be missed , but not forgotten.

I know that the passing of Keith has been deeply felt by his many friends from ULC. I worked with Keith for over 25 years.

To Judi and family and those who are greatly affected by this loss, I do tender by deepest sympathy to all the bereaved at Keith’s passsing. At this times words are inadequate to express such sorrow but please know I will bear you up in my prayers.

I did work with Keith for at least 20 years and he was just a likely guy. My self and others have learned much from him in terms of fixing engines. He may be gone but he will not be forgotten.

We do not undertand why God took him home but we must trust His omnipotent wisdom as He could see beyond tomorrow. Yes, life will be difficult without him, but let us continue to pray and ask God to give us grace to carry on in time like this.

Once again, I love all of you and may God be with you now and forever.

    Blessings,

    Joe.
