Sincere condolences to Ab’s family. I’ll always remember Ab & Alice with fond memories as when I was younger I played a lot of euchre with them, my parents (Marion & Roscoe) and Al & Liz Scott. I always remember as well my father sharing the story with us as kids that Ab & Alice eloped the night of my parents wedding and ended up at the same hotel because they say their names registered. May they rest in peace and cherish all the wonderful memories you have.

To All The Gilmour Family :
We are very sorry to hear of Ab’s passing. We remember many times when they would stop at the store to get gasoline and Ab would come in to pay and Alice would stay out in the truck /car waiting but he’d get telling us a story and she’d get tired waiting on him and get out … open the store door “Ab we got to get home for supper “ no matter what time of day ! We sure had some good laughs !
Now they can have supper together again !

Our condolences to all the family. Ab and Alice were a fixture on the side road where the farm was always their pride with at least one “old mare” to watch in the orchard.

Our condolences to the Gilmour family. As my sister Patti noted, Ab and Alice were good friends with Mom and Dad (Madalene and Lewis), and were frequent visitors to our home when we were kids. Ab was funny as hell and always had a very loud story to tell, much to the chagrin of Alice! No doubt there will be lots of stories told about Ab (and Alice) as the family says goodbye.

Condolences to the Gilmour family. My parents (Madalene and Lewis Tasko) were friends with Ab and Alice for many years. I think they were the first people we knew who had a snowmobile and it was always quite exciting when they zoomed up to the house on a dark winter night. Ab was a funny guy and we will remember him with a smile on our faces, especially when we think about how much he loved butter tarts.
