With saddened hearts we announce the sudden passing of Gerald Jacob DeBoer in his 62nd year on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Much loved husband of Wendy (Lee). Father of Meghan and Samantha Dunbar. He is survived by his siblings Sylvia Meiklejohn, Simon (Carole) DeBoer and Lola (Glenn) Powell. Predeceased by his father Jacob (1979) and mother Tryntje (Tina) (2000) DeBoer, brother-in-law Jim Meiklejohn (2015) and mother-in-law Beatrice Lee (2020). He will be dearly missed by his in-laws – George E. Lee, Ron and Bev Lee, Brenda and Eric Bullock, Rick and Jean Lee, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A private family funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 16th at 1:30 PM. Though the service is private, the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your home.
