GINGERICH: Nathan “Nate” Keith of Exeter formerly of Zurich

Suddenly at his home in Exeter on Monday, August 17, 2020, formerly of Zurich, at the age of 33. Cherished and much loved son of Harold (Pat Case) and the late Esther (Schwartzentruber) Gingerich of Zurich. Proud brother of Jonathan Gingerich of Exeter. Nathan will be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Keith and Helen Gingerich, and Serenus and Esther Schwartzentruber.

Nate worked at Iceculture in Hensall for over 17 years. He was an avid golfer, when he wasn’t playing on the course, he was swinging his clubs on the 4 homemade greens on the farm.

Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 49 Goshen Street North, ZURICH on Saturday, August 22nd from 11AM – 12 PM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP with a time to attend the visitation. Please click “Register Now” below to register. Each person coming into the funeral home must wear a mask.

A private family funeral service will be held at 1 PM with Pastor Dennis Estep, officiating. Though the service is private, the family invites you to join them from the comfort of your own home. Stream the service live by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh. Interment Kingsfield Zurich Mennonite Cemetery.

Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.

    I met Nate when I worked at Bayview golf club in 2001. He was a junior at the time. He would play golf until it was to dark to find his ball. I would often give him a ride home after. I also played league golf with him at bayview years later. he was a terrific golfer and an even better person. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

    Minds are numb, the grief is real and this loss is great for such a young man as this. Why, is the prevailing question that we meditate upon. Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
