LINDEMANN: Inge of Seaforth

Ingetraud Charlotte Lindemann (née Klauer), passed away peacefully, at St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, on Friday, June 5, 2020. Inge was 89 years old. Although Inge was small in stature, the love she offered her family was large and generous. She faced the challenges of life with determination and spunk. Her bright, welcoming smile and friendly demeanor were a gift to her family, friends and our community.

Inge will be lovingly remembered by her children Klaus and Colleen, Wolfgang and Karen, Uwe and Sharon and Angie and Dan. Memories of a much loved grandma remain with grandchildren Kurt and Michelle, Katrina and Brent, Eric and Alex, along with 4 great grandchildren.

Inge is predeceased by her husband Erich Lindemann (1987), her parents Wilhem and Charlotte (née Fritzen) Klauer and her brother Wilfred Klauer.

Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth. Honouring Inge’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside inurnment will take place at a later date at Egmondville Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

My condolences to the family of this little lady. I’ll always remember her kindness towards me and her joking with me on April 1st and ever since that time in Cleveland on April Fools Day. Every time I hear someone call someone a “Silly Goose” I think of her and smile. She use to use that phrase a lot in joking many years ago. I’m sure she will be missed by her family & friends. It was a pleasure to have known her for the short time that I did.

Sincere condolences for the loss of your Mom and Grandma, she was a very special lady in every concept, I remember visiting with Eric next door and then in the hospital, he loved to watch Stephen playing, just like it was yesterday, hard to believe it was 33 years ago, time sure has a unbelievable, way of just slipping by us, when we aren’t watching. She is now with her best man. Thoughts and Prayers to you all, God Bless

Wolf and Karen, so sorry to learn of the passing of your mother. The loss of a parent, at any age, is difficult. These challenging times with the virus make it even more so. Hopefully happy, family memories and the caring of friends will help you through. Knowing that your mother is no longer suffering any pain should help ease your sorrow. Wishing we could be with you.
