Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich on Sunday, December 16, 2018 formerly of Exeter and Biddulph Township 11 days shy of her 96th birthday. Dear wife of the late Robert (Bob) Blair (1995). Dear mother of Judy and Ray Mills of Centralia, Bonnie and Dennis Dawson of Kitchener, Robin Blair-Frank of Gorham, and Faye and Larry Skinner of Usborne Township. Dear grandmother of Brent and Jenn Mills, Kurt and Shelley Mills; Kristen and Andrew Jennings, Nicholas and Breanne Dawson; Erin and Jeff Reyce, Bryant Frank; Mikayla and Aubrey Thomson, and Mikenzie Skinner. Dear great-grandmother of Bobby, Sophia, Stella Reyce; Flinn, Keilan Jennings; and Brinsley Thomson. Dear sister of Ferrol Warwick of Port Huron, and sister-in-law of Marilyn Denstedt of Forest and Florence Blair of London. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a grandson Shawn Mills, a son-in-law Rob Frank, sister Belva, and brothers Glenn, Ben, Bud, and Bobby. Iva was a life long member of the Exeter Rebekah Lodge and long-time member of the Centralia United Church.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 21st at 11 AM with Pastor Paul Vollick officiating. A private family interment will take place at the Exeter Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bluewater Rest Home – Activation Program, Centralia United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
