HENDRICK: Patricia (Pat) (Sillery) of Exeter

Eatern-Star-logo-for-website-1024At LHSC, University Hospital, London, on Thursday, February 6, 2014, of Exeter in her 76th year.  Beloved wife of the late Emil Hendrick (2012). Dear mother of Julia and Earl Martene of Crediton, Jayne Hendrick and Lorne Culbert of Exeter, and Lisa and Justin Steffler of Dashwood. Dear grandmother of Jason and Jen, Brian and Devon; Mitchell, Emily and Evan; Danielle and Ginger. Pat will be sadly missed by her several nieces and nephews. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Alma Davey of Exeter, Dorcas and Glen Majury of Southhampton; Helen and Jerry Drysdale and Pat and Ruth Hendrick all of Grand Bend and Eleanor Hendrick of Exeter. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Laura Sillery and her brother Doug Sillery.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street West of Main) on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 10th at 11 AM with Rev. Harry Disher officiating.  Interment Exeter Cemetery.

An Eastern Star service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:30 PM.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Exeter United Church, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

    Our heartfelt condolences to Pat’s family. We didn’t really know her personally but do remember her kindness & patience when she worked at the PUC. And we used to pay our bills right there.

    Dora McTavish and I would like you to know that we are so sorry to hear about the passing of Pat. Dora got to know her when they both worked at Tuckey’s. She remembers going to the farm to see what Pat had made for her wedding and also having Pat and her husband visit Dora at her mother’s home in Stratford.

    We both remember Pat as a gentle and wonderful lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

    Julie, Jane, Lisa & families, we are so very sorry. I would have been trying to telephone your Mom coming week; I know it would be her birthday on Tuesday! Your parents were such a special couple and we will miss them both…with one of your Dad’s early cribbage boards, we will think of them often about 8:30 at night as we take out our crib board.

    I am so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. She came to me for piano lessons when, in her sixties, she decided she would follow through on a lifelong desire to play the piano. She was such a kind and gentle woman, and I remember her lovely smile. My sincere sympathies are with her family.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
